Qualifications:
1. Property & Casualty
Insurance License required, CISR and/or CIC designation a plus.
2. College degree preferred.
3. Minimum of 5-7 years Commericial
Agency experience. Commericial lines production
preferred.
4. Minimum of 3-5 years of
internal carrier marketing experience.
5. Good credit history.
6. Computer proficiency with
Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Applied Management
Sytems (AMS)
a plus.
7. High energy, multi-tasker
with capability to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines,
and to adapt to change.
8. Professional and courteous
with a track record of delivering a high level of customer service and
customer retention.
9. Accuracy and attention to
detail.
10. Ability to use critcal
thinking and good decision making.
11. Experience solving complex
problems and using strong negotiation skills.
12. Team player with drive
and initiative.
13. Sales experience preferred.
Job
Purpose Summary
The
Account Executive interacts extensively with the Producer, Customer
Service Team,
Customers
and the Carriers to market and secure new accounts and renewal coverage
for
Commericial
accounts.The Account Executive researches carrier options and makes
recommendations
to the Commerical Sales Agent regarding the writing of new commerical
business
and the renewing of commerical accounts.
Key Responsibility:
Provides Quotes, Proposals,and Recommendations for Potential
New Accounts and Renewals
1. Research and compile
necessary information regarding new account applications e.g. carrier
options.
2. Submit risk management
recommendations regarding the proposed account in a timely manner.
3. Examine documents
to determine degree of risk from such factors as applicant financial
standing and value and condition of property.
4. Write to field representatives,
medical personnel, and others to obtain further information,
quote rates, or explain company underwriting policies.
5. Evaluate possibility of
losses due to catastrophe or excessive insurance.
6. Decrease value of policy
when risk is substandard and specify applicable endorsements or apply
rating to ensure safe profitable distribution of risks, using reference
materials.
7. Review company records to
determine amount of insurance in force on single risk or group of closely
related risks.
8. Authorize reinsurance of
policy when risk is high.
9. Decline excessive risks.
Key Responsibility:
Establish Payment Arrangements for each New Commerical
Account
Key Responsibility:
Provide Ongoing Superior Customer Service to Designated Commerical accounts.
1. Answer customer questions
in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Contact customer before
renewal time and secure renewal of accounts.
3. Perform periodic service
calls on commercial accounts proactively.
4. Assure a high level
of customer satisfaction and customer retention.
Key Responsibility:
Continuously Up-Sell and Cross-Sell Insurance Products
1. Make recommendations
to the Sales Agent for additional insurance at the initiation of
the account.
2. During servicing of
the account and at renewal offer and secure additonal insurance services.
